I know Uncle David is at peace with the many loved ones who welcomed him home. He's far happier now than where he was "living". We had one unique experience in common (other than simply being Meyers , of course -lol) He and Lisa helped me sneak a kitten home MANY years ago in a truck load of wood that my dad was driving... a while later... cats out of the bag...I got to keep the kitten! Uncle David and his love for the great outdoors and animals lives on in his children and grandchildren. They possess the best parts of him, what a true gift. He had a greater understanding and awareness than some knew. I'm sad that his time here is done; I'm happy that he's home! Dawn

I will always remember the coon dogs and beagles. I now have a beagle named Rico and I know it is because of that part of dad that was bestowed with in me. Rest in peace dad. Your son who carries your and Grandpa's name David George Meyers Jr.
