EATON: Dianne H. Lodor, 77, of Mechanic St., passed away at her home on Saturday, October 20, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Dianne was born on March 14, 1941 in Buffalo, NY to William J. and Theo Harvey Hagmann. She was a 1958 graduate of the Morrisville-Eaton High School, and recently celebrated her 60th class reunion with longtime friends. On November 18, 1957, Dianne married the love of her life, Durwood F. Lodor, II in Munnsville, NY. Dianne and Durwood were married for nearly 60 years, celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2007. He predeceased her on February 15, 2015. Dianne had worked at the Key Bank in Morrisville until retiring. Previously, she had been a paralegal for the Hughes Law Firm. Dianne enjoyed many hobbies and activities including traveling, visiting family, gardening, sewing, quilting and antiquing. She loved the arts and going to art shows, plays, concerts and fairs. She especially enjoyed following all of her grandchildren’s sporting events and high school plays.
Dianne was a member of the Lebanon Federated Church, and an incredibly active person in the community. She was a member of the Eaton Town Planning Board; the secretary and treasurer of the Eaton Village Cemetery; and a volunteer for the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society. Dianne was a true neighbor and friend to any and all of the Eaton hamlet. She was a big believer in giving back and helping out where she could.
Surviving are her children, Denise M. (Mark) Morris of Eaton; Wayde C. Lodor of Leominster, MA; Scott C. Lodor of San Diego, CA; her beloved grandchildren, Janelle, Kara and Jillian Lodor of Leominster, MA; Leigha, Rachel and Wyatt Morris of Eaton; Anna Glinni-Lodor of San Diego, CA; a sister-in-law, Joan Hagmann of Eaton; her in-laws, Patricia Mund of Eaton; Marilyn (Leonard) Rein of Germantown; Catherine Wilson of Lyndonville; Pauline Lodor of Eaton and Dorothy Lodor of Kirkville; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Carl W. Hagmann in October 2008.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, NY, followed by interment in the Eaton Village Cemetery.
