He was then employed at Town & Gown in Hamilton transporting pre-school children to the many Head Start programs in and around Madison County for 15 years retiring in 2001. The joy he had with those young students always brought a smile to his face. Working in his yard was one of his greatest pleasures and he was especially proud of his gardens. He enjoyed decorating the house for Christmas and displaying all of Linda’s lighthouses during the holiday season.
